My name is Anna Maybach, and I live in Boulder, Colorado. I am an avid artist, a student, and a blossoming soul hungry to travel and learn.
As an artist, my goal is to take in real objects, and produce a work that is utterly unique to my imagination. I work in all kinds of mediums such as oil paint, acrylic, charcoal and collage, but good ol' pen and paper will always be my favorite. In high school, I began working with technology such as Photoshop and Illustrator, which taught me to take my art to a whole new level. I fell in love with art when I was just two years old, when my mom let me fingerprint with pudding on the kitchen floor, and I have been hooked ever since.
Much of my art is based on human interaction, as I am fascinated with all the attributes of human nature. I love incorporating elements of mystery into my work, because I like to leave some of the thinking to my viewers. I am inspired by my travels, and the people I meet. In the future, I plan to explore more mediums, and learn to convey every motion and emotion in a beautiful and concrete way.
I believe that there is no boundary to what can be created, and that there is always more than one way to look at something. Art is not just something pleasurable to look at, it is a way of life.
